An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.0.14. There is a NULL pointer dereference caused by a malicious USB device in the drivers/usb/misc/yurex.c driver.

It was discovered that a race condition existed in the USB YUREX device driver in the Linux kernel. A physically proximate attacker could use this to cause a denial of service (system crash).
